A Warm Winter in Los Alamos

Seems the weather just isn’t cooperating with my skiing plans! Aargh! But the warm winter IS allowing for great hiking, music and art making.

The Los Alamos Arts Council’s Holiday Fair was, the Friday before, looking as if it might get rained out and blown away. But on Saturday, Nov. 18th, though chilly, the weather was bright and sunny and you, the public, turned out in droves to experience our annual Holiday Arts Fair. With 75 artists from around the Southwest, there was a lovely plethora of fine art, crafts and other goodies to sample and purchase. Thanks go to all the artists and vendors, and all the fantastic volunteers. LAAC will hold the Fair again next November, so be sure to look for it. And look for our Mother’s Day Fair in May!!

Be sure to catch Your’s Truly playing on a Brown Bag show, December 6th. And if you have never heard Kathy McIntosh or Kay Newnam, be sure to attend. You are in for an exciting hour of virtuoso musicians knocking your socks off!!

Have a great Holiday and come back for our Brown Bag concert in February (7th). See the links above for more information about this and LAAC’s other programs.

Cheers! ~ PN
