To have art without the environment is impossible, and to imagine the environment without art is equally difficult. The Los Alamos Arts Council invites artists based in New Mexico to an eco-friendly exhibit in the Fuller Lodge Art Center. We encourage applicants to submit art of any medium celebrating nature and our place in it, from eco-optimism/pessimism to landscape photography. The jury will give special consideration to pieces that primarily use recycled/ biodegradable materials. All mediums of art are considered including: ceramics, painting, photography, stained glass, fiber art, practical crafts, and other manners of 2d and 3d art.
