We are committed to continuing to provide services to our community during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our priority is the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors, and program participants.
We are currently following the guidelines from the NM Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, and Los Alamos County. All events through April 10th have been canceled or postponed. We will provide the dates of rescheduled events to the public through our website, as well as announcements to Los Alamos Daily Post, The Los Alamos Monitor, The Daily Reporter, KRSN, Facebook, and Instagram. Events past the April 10th deadline are not currently affected by this restriction. LAAC will update our information as soon as we receive additional information regarding closures, if necessary.
The Arts Council has been instructed by Los Alamos County to maintain social distancing for public health. Through June 30th, 2020, all LAAC Staff will be working remotely, unless further changes are made. If you choose to call us at 505-663-0477, please allow us 48 hours to return your call. Los Alamos Arts Council is working with multiple organizations to regularly update a new Facebook page: At Home In Los Alamos with activities for students and parents to participate in during the school closure. LAAC will also provide PDF information for those who do not use Facebook. Check back here for more information as we have it!
